Scholarship Programme for Diaspore Children


Scholarships for Women The SPDC is open to applicants in the age group 17 to 21 years as on October 1, 2011. In other words, applicants born on or after October 1, 1990 and before October 1, 1994 are entitled to apply for it.

(I) The people of Indian Origin (PIO) and the citizens of the countries listed in Annex-A
(Ii) Indian National studying abroad. Scholarships for Women Description: Indian Foreign Affairs Ministry (MOIA), Government of India, launched a program called "Scholarship Program for Diaspora Children '(SPDC), in the academic year 2006-2007, to ward of the People of India Origin (PIOs) and Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) to assist them in pursuing Under Graduate University Education in India.
-EdCIL (India) Limited, Government of India Enterprise, has been designated as "Nodal Agency" for the implementation of SPDC.This Information Booklet details the procedures for entry into the designated institutions and courses and scholarships, for academic year 2011-2012.
